Every Ellipsis exhibition is immortalized in a comprehensive catalogue. Beyond showcasing stunning student work, it documents the curatorial vision of student and faculty organizers, and crucially—includes each selected project alongside a justification note. These notes articulate how each work engages with that year’s thematic exploration, revealing the critical thinking and conceptual rigor behind every piece.

Whitespace is SDI’s annual publication—a celebration of student voice and creative expression. Curated entirely by a cohort of second-year Communication Design students, Whitespace transforms the year’s achievements, challenges, and growth into a carefully curated publication. Each year begins with a unifying theme. The student team then democratizes the publication process, dividing editorial, design, writing, and production roles amongst themselves. This hands-on experience transforms Whitespace from a final product into a pedagogical journey, where students learn real-world publication workflows and editorial decision-making.
