Centre for Innovation & Entrepreneurship
The centre aims to create a space where students and faculty can work together on innovation, research, and entrepreneurship. It focuses on areas like intellectual property, drug discovery, student projects, and startup training. By involving student clubs, industry partners, and different departments, the centre will help students build practical solutions, develop new ideas, and gain skills in innovation and entrepreneurship.
Patents
A Patent is a right given by the Government of a country for an invention. It gives right to stop others from copying the
invention. Patent rights are given for a period of 20 years.
A patent draft is a technical document presented in a legal format that has two primary functions:
- Establish novelty and
- Establish inventive step or non-obviousness of an invention.

- Articles of manufacture
- Process or methods
- Designs
- Composition of matter
- Business Methods
Copyrights
- Literary, dramatic and musical work. Computer programs/software are covered within the definition of literary work;
- Artistic work;
- Cinematographic films which include soundtrack and video films;
- Record-any disc, tape, perforated roll or other device.
