Interdisciplinary Research
Be creative. Be innovative. Send us research proposals that cut across the disciplines and areas listed above. The future of research is interdisciplinary: one that seamlessly brings together design, technology, business, economics, humanities, social sciences and arts. We encourage research proposals that can imagine and celebrate this inter-disciplinarity. We also encourage research proposals that identify problems in the industry / professional sector (be it law, education, business, etc.) and aim to find solutions to the problem.
Application Process
Submit your application at https://admissions.rvu.edu.in on or before 11 May 2024.
Steps:

- Fill in the application form.
- Upload the required documents.
- Pay the application and entrance test fee of INR 1000.
- Submit your application.
- Apply by 11 May 2024.
Eligibility Criteria
You are eligible if you have completed a:
A. One year / two semester Masters’ Degree after a four year / eight semester Bachelors’ Degree, from a recognized University, in the relevant discipline, with a minimum 55% aggregate marks or the equivalent grade on a point scale, where a grading system is followed.
B. Two year / four semester Masters’ Degree after a three year / six semester Bachelors’ Degree, from a recognized University, in the relevant discipline, with a minimum 55% aggregate marks or the equivalent grade in a point scale, where a grading system is followed.
C. Four year / eight semester Bachelors’ degree with a minimum of 75% aggregate marks or the equivalent grade in a point scale, where a grading system is followed.
D. M.Phil. degree from a recognized University, with a minimum 55% aggregate marks or the equivalent grade on a point scale, where a grading system is followed.

*Candidates who have qualified UGC-NET and those who have an M.Phil. degree are exempted from writing the entrance exam.

** A part time Ph.D. student shall pay an annual fee of INR 40,000/year for 4 years (stipulated period for completing the Ph.D. from the date of provisional registration). For each additional year (late submission), the fee is annual fee + Rs.20000/ year.
++ A full time Ph.D. student shall pay an annual fee of INR 25,000/year for 3 years (stipulated period for completing the Ph.D. from the date of provisional registration). For each additional year (late submission), the fee is annual fee + Rs.10000/ year.
The part-time Ph.D. option is open to those candidates who are working professionals and wish to pursue doctoral studies while being in employment.
The full-time Ph.D. option is open to those candidates who are not in employment and wish to pursue doctoral studies full-time.
Stipends
Stipends are available for deserving candidates.
