About

Bonny is a multidisciplinary designer with expertise in industrial design, product strategy, and emerging technologies. A postgraduate in Transportation and Automobile Design from the National Institute of Design, India, he has built a career that bridges creativity, technology, and business.

A former Product Planning Manager at Samsung India and Co-founder of Mightyseed Design Consultancy, Bonny has led projects from concept to launch. His award-winning work includes Soul-E, recognised at the Michelin Design Challenge, while his Vespa 98 Electric Reincarnation project has been featured internationally in Top Gear, Designboom, and other leading design media.

His portfolio spans consumer electronics, medical devices, automotive design, extended reality (XR), and social innovation. As a Senior Industrial Designer in XR development at Jio Tesseract, he helped to shape next-generation immersive hardware experiences, blending ergonomic excellence with cutting-edge technology.

Currently, his research explores the intersection of sustainability, AI, and human psychology to create products that are functional, emotionally engaging, and future resilient.

  • My research interests lie at the intersection of design, technology, and human behavior. I explore how emerging technologies, material innovation, and cultural trends can shape products that are functional, emotionally resonant, and environmentally responsible. I am particularly drawn to studying how design can influence user behavior, enhance accessibility, and create sustainable value.
